In order to ensure a flawless and extraordinary event, Slick managed every element of the Awards. This included the show itself, as well as the full transformation of the venue, including media, VIP and reception areas. The team also managed external branding to the venue as well as the hotel, airport and transport.

Taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai harbour provided the perfect backdrop to what would be an unforgettable night. To ensure maximum ease when guests arrived, they were greeted by our team of local hostesses. Guests were then guided into our luxurious reception area, which featured various elements of entertainment including traditional Chinese calligraphy, silhouette paper-cutting and photo opportunities with a classic rickshaw and accompanying fan dancers.

Guests then took their seats in the auditorium in readiness for the show. The team at Slick designed, built and supplied all elements of the spectacular set, including seating platform, luxury seating, stage set featuring LED floor screens, motorised LED back screens, kinetic mirrors, proscenium arch, kabuki drape and a futuristic trophy reveal mechanism.

Our team then brought the show to life with dramatic visual content, lighting, audio and projections. 

​

The show was presented by the professional and charismatic Jason Dasey and Lisa Wong, with a stunning headline performance by Sally Yeh. The opening and closing performances of the show fused modern Hong Kong together with its ancient traditions, featuring a reimagined version of the traditional Dragon Lion dance and finishing with a dynamic energetic dance number.
